Hale Rice Hamilton (February 28, 1880 – May 19, 1942)〔''Who Was Who in the Theatre: 1912-1976''; page 1062 compiled from editions originally published annually by John Parker; 1976 edition by Gale Research Company〕 was an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in Topeka, Kansas. (His birth year is also given as 1879 and 1883.) Hamilton was married to three actresses, Jane Oaker, Myrtle Tannehill, and Grace La Rue.
